The 24th Cyprus Choreography Platform is approaching, with choreographers and all contributing artists working intensively to present the audience with their latest choreographic creations inspired by existential and social issues. Alongside them, artists involved in the parallel events are also diligently preparing, enhancing and complementing the main performance program. These parallel events are organized by the Dance House Lemesos under the title “Dance Throughout the Year.”
Dance House Lemesos is pleased to announce Dance Throughout The Year, the parallel events of the Cyprus Choreography Platform. Cypriot artists present short dance films created exclusively for the parallel events under the guidance of the programme's mentor Chrysanthi Badeka.
This year's two-day programme includes a total of 15 short dance films involving more than 25 artists.
On Saturday 16/11 at MeMeraki Artistic Residency from 18:00 to 20:00 three premieres of this year's entries will be screened in a loop and at 19:00 a Q&A with the creators will take place.
On Sunday 17/11 at the same venue from 18:00-19:30 there will be a tribute screening of all the dance films created in the last five years as part of Dance Throughout The Year. The evening will end with a Q&A with the creators at 19:30-20:00.
